The post holder will lead the development and implementation of Fairtrade International's Compliance Management System, manage and oversee the Whistle-Blowing-System and promote a culture that enables our employees and partners to speak up. The post holder will also manage responsibilities of the scheme owner related to assurance and compliance. Manage the oversight mechanisms, oversight structures, processes and procedures, and implement agreed improvement activities. Manage the global compliance framework and support the implementation of a comprehensive compliance management system for Fairtrade. Audit and oversee the implementation of processes, procedures and policies by the member organizations for assurance and licensing activities.

In this role, you will take a leading responsibility for managing sustainability certification activities in your countries of responsibility, coordinating closely with certification bodies, managing entities and international stakeholders across the coffee, or coffee and cocoa supply chain. You will actively contribute to the development, integrity and expansion of the 4C system while supporting international customer acquisition and strategic partnerships. Leadership and management of sustainability certification activities as Country Manager for assigned countries, ensuring compliance with environmental and social standards and coordinating with Certification Bodies and key stakeholders
